Welcome to
Sentinel Classifier!
This innovative web application enables users to select areas of interest globally, access Sentinel-2 satellite images provided by
Sentinel-Hub, and utilize an advanced land cover classification model trained on the
EuroSAT dataset.
With this application, you can easily generate and compare LULC (Land Use and Land Cover) images and their associated data, offering powerful support for your research or projects.
To Get Start
First, you need to select an area of interest and acquire satellite data by following three steps:
- Drag the light blue selection box on the OpenLayer map to select your desired target area.
- On the left-hand control panel (or at the top in mobile view), use the "Fetch Selection" to set the desired time period for the images, then click the "Fetch" button and wait for the response.
- Once the image is successfully fetched, please check if the image meets your expectations. If not, click "Discard" to reset and adjust the parameters before fetching again.
When satellite image fetching is complete, the control panel will have the "Result Layers" section with a button for image download.
To Get Result
Once you have successfully acquired the desired area image, simply click the "
Fetch" button in the "
Fetch Result" section of the control panel and wait for the server to complete the classification and return a response.
The "
Result Layers" panel will provide options to download the image, and statistical data will appear below the map section. There will also be buttons available to download a summary of the data in CSV format or detailed data in JSON format.
Load History (Cookie Enabled)
If you allow cookies, the "
History & Compare" section will appear in the control panel and automatically add a history record after completing the Fetch Result process. To revisit the site or retrieve previous results, simply click the "
Load" button in the target record, and the layers and data will be restored.
Comparison (Cookie Enabled)
If you have multiple records at the same coordinates, once you have fetched or loaded a result, you can find the "
Compare" button within the same coordinate records in the "
History & Compare" section. Clicking this button will generate comparison data.
In the "
Result Layers", a "
Compare Slide" will be added, allowing you to control the display ratio of the comparison layers by sliding the range bar. The data download in the "
Analysis Panel" will also include comparison information.
